I came across Tatiana through unconventional means. It wasn't through a viral TikTok post or a top-ten horror books list on Facebook. I came across her work because my very good friend Naomi Darling, the acquiring editor of Boozhoo Books, called me one morning and squealed into the phone, "I FOUND THE BOOK!"

So naturally, I immediately reached out to both of Tatiana's current publishers and asked them to send me her books so that I could read them and see how I felt about her work.

I read The Mean Ones in one sitting. The moment I started it, I knew I had to know the ending. And my choices were either to skip ahead and plant myself on my couch and not move until I had reached it fair and square. And I'm proud (and grateful) to say I chose the latter path.

The Mean Ones is a cult/suspense horror following a 29 year old woman who has been living a shadow of a life since the fateful day where she was forced to sit by and watch as her two closest friends--and greatest enemies--were slaughtered in a cultish ritual. Now, 29 and dating one of the biggest losers on the planet, she has been invited on a weekend away in the woods, where everything she has spent her adult life running from is determined to not only catch up to her, but completely take over her life.

This book was excellent. I went in hoping for the best, but I left absolutely obsessed with Tatianna. Which is why I jumped at the opportunity to help her publisher get finished copies into two of your hands!
